In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Surahammar's goalkeeper Markus Asplund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jax Cedillo was a little too slow when Nils-Emil Falck got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. Ronaldo Tendiero scored 1-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Markus Asplund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Surahammar's Markus Asplund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gombal Avellaneda in the 22nd minute of play. Markus Asplund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Tendiero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Markus Asplund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Tendiero, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Tendiero in the 26th minute of play forced Surahammar's goalkeeper Markus Asplund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 28 minutes into the game, when Tomas Helström put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Surahammar fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! Markus Asplund had in the 30thth minute some difficulties stopping Casomiro Gamez's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. If Ronaldo Tendiero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Markus Asplund came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s Ronaldo Tendiero. But to his dismay, Ronaldo Tendiero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Severo Jimilio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Markus Asplund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Markus Asplund came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s Gombal Avellaneda. But to his dismay, Gombal Avellaneda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 46 minutes into the match, ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s Ronaldo Tendiero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Markus Asplund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronaldo Tendiero was the one to do the kick off. Jax Cedillo came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Surahammar's Nils-Emil Falck. But to his dismay, Nils-Emil Falck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. 55 minutes into the game, Ronaldo Tendiero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Markus Asplund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ronaldo Tendiero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronaldo Tendiero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Markus Asplund having to make a save. 62 minutes into the match, Ronaldo Tendiero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Markus Asplund. Surahammar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronaldo Tendiero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. Markus Asplund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Tendiero in the 65th minute of the match. The corner ended in Casomiro Gamez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Surahammar's Markus Asplund did a great save. The attack was good, but when Joaquim Hita in the 68th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Tendiero in the 70th minute of play forced Surahammar's goalkeeper Markus Asplund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► booed when Surahammar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erland Josefsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 72 minutes, Ronaldo Tendiero made it 2-6 with a short kick to the right side. Surahammar's Markus Asplund tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Markus Asplund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ronaldo Tendiero in the 75th minute. Ronaldo Tendiero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. In the 83rd minute Ronaldo Tendiero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Asplund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jens-Åke Bank hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute, Gombal Avellaneda fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Markus Asplund, passed just outside the right post. Ronaldo Tendieros short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Markus Asplund to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Markus Asplund made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Gombal Avellaneda sent off a good shot on target. ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Casomiro Gamez in the 95th minute. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Joaquim Hita advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-7 in the 96th minute.
