The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isaltino Maraschin during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cusco FC booed when AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaltino Maraschin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isaltino Maraschin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Cusco FC's Elorri Uruñuela got a free kick in the 19th minute. Isaltino Maraschin struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Santos Peso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ. After 22 played minutes AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Ulisses Marquez. In the 25th minute Ulisses Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Peso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ulisses Marquez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santos Peso was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's Ulisses Marquez got a free kick in the 28th minute. Santos Peso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaltino Maraschin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Cusco FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Rodas Alfaro hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Cusco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Serginho Barbosa came free, but Santos Peso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Renan Britto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serginho Barbosa scored 0-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Santos Peso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Santos Peso came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's Luís Pitta. But to his dismay, Luís Pitta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Larra Turrilla to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavino Nieves in the 53rd minute of play forced AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's goalkeeper Aníbal das Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cusco FC's Santos Peso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Cusco FC from getting a goal against them. Astigar Blea kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Serginho Barbosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santos Peso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Matias Gorron hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Santos Peso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Gaspar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santos Peso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serginho Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Matias Gorron hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. When Larra Turrilla came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Cusco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Larra Turrilla couldn't finish the play. Santos Peso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serginho Barbosa in the 71st minute of play. Santos Peso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Pitta, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Cusco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Renan Britto came free, but Santos Peso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Agostinho Maraschin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Santos Peso. Agostinho Maraschin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Santos Peso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulisses Marquez in the 85th minute. The supporters of Cusco FC booed when AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Pitta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute, José Paulo Massa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isaltino Maraschin scored 0-5 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Santos Peso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 95th minute, Isaltino Maraschin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
