Liu Ming Jian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Miguel-Angel Sanchez made a huge save. 7 minutes into the match, FC Draconia's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Ramirez came free, but Billie Serneels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Franck Rutgeerts fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Draconia's protests and gave Franck Rutgeerts a yellow card for diving instead. After 8 played minutes FC Draconia got a freekick which was hit by Franck Rutgeerts. Billie Serneels took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Ramirez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Epifanio Ramirez spun around in front of the goal 12 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of FC Draconia's goal. Atlético Montserrat's Miguel-Angel Sanchez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Montserrat from getting a goal against them. Atlético Montserrat's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Liu Ming Jian 18 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 23rd minute Gregoire Decorte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel-Angel Sanchez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Liu Ming Jian recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Miguel-Angel Sanchez. Liu Ming Jian showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teo De Kelper during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Atlético Montserrat's Miguel-Angel Sanchez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liu Ming Jian in the 40th minute of play. The supporters of FC Draconia booed when Atlético Montserrat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Epifanio Ramirez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Liu Ming Jian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Miguel-Angel Sanchez made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Liu Ming Jian to strike the kick off in the second half. Miguel-Angel Sanchez came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Draconia's Liu Ming Jian. But to his dismay, Liu Ming Jian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Miguel-Angel Sanchez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregoire Decorte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Billie Serneels showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanio Ramirez, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liu Ming Jian in the 67th minute of play forced Atlético Montserrat's goalkeeper Miguel-Angel Sanchez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Jerry Moerman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miguel-Angel Sanchez was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Jerry Moerman put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Miguel-Angel Sanchez. Jerry Moerman struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Miguel-Angel Sanchez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Draconia. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Liu Ming Jian sped through Atlético Montserrat's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Miguel-Angel Sanchez. Jerry Moerman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miguel-Angel Sanchez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. After 96 minutes of play, FC Draconia's Franck Rutgeerts made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miguel-Angel Sanchez was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that FC Draconia were the better team. FC Draconia's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
