Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Válter Peixoto started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 8th minute of the match, Renan Paes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vasco Sousa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 9 minutes, David Carmo made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Xanda FC's Ramiro Pires tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After recieving a nice pass, Alexandrie CF's Merlin Beaudoux tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Carmo in the 14th minute of play forced Xanda FC's goalkeeper Ramiro Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute of the match Alexandrie CF got a corner. Xanda FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Merlin Beaudoux ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Merlin Beaudoux got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ramiro Pires quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Vasco Sousa was a little too slow when Válter Peixoto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-1. 24 minutes into the match, Alexandrie CF's goal looked a bit too open when Válter Peixoto came free, but Vasco Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vasco Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aírton de Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Renan Paes in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vasco Sousa saved Alexandrie CF from getting behind. The audience was convinced that David Carmo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ramiro Pires was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Ramiro Pires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John-Paul Atlan in the 32nd minute of play. Ramiro Pires stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Carmo's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Aírton de Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasco Sousa having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Carmo to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Gabriel Mendy sped through Xanda FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ramiro Pires. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, David Carmo put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Ramiro Pires. Alexandrie CF's Gaël Pouchin was substituted for Merlin Beaudoux. Ramiro Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigue Le Louarn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Mendy took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramiro Pires. Ramiro Pires dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Pierrick Moulard charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pierrick Moulard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Renan Paes came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Xanda FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Renan Paes couldn't finish the play. Vasco Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renan Paes in the 81st minute of play. Válter Peixoto scored 2-4 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vasco Sousa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92ndth minute of the game David Carmo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xanda FC's Ramiro Pires was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Xanda FC's goalkeeper Ramiro Pires had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by John-Paul Atlan. Alexandrie CF's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
