The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, A.D.PADRE MIGUEL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Luiz Mineiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute, Cléberson Esteves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 13 minutes, Tiago Goiano made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. A.D.PADRE MIGUEL's Gustavo de Godoi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee felt a red card was in order, 21 minutes into the game, when Franklin Trigo put in a rough tackle. 20 minutes into the game, one of Jung 1972:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Lisandro Ihintza, was totally fooled by A.D.PADRE MIGUEL's Cristóvão Pires, who 22 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tiago Goiano in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustavo de Godoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 28 minutes into the match, Osvaldinho de Senna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustavo de Godoi. A.D.PADRE MIGUEL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Osvaldinho de Senna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Gustavo de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldinho de Senna in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th match minute, Jung 1972 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Goiano to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Goiano in the 39th minute of play forced A.D.PADRE MIGUEL's goalkeeper Gustavo de Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, A.D.PADRE MIGUEL's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldinho de Senna came free, but Gustavo de Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The wind increased when Cristóvão Pires made the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 60 in the game by Basílio Nogueira from a close distance when the talented Gustavo de Godoi managed to make a qualified save. A.D.PADRE MIGUEL's players were relieved. After 63 played minutes A.D.PADRE MIGUEL got a freekick which was hit by Hortêncio Custódio. Gustavo de Godoi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Basílio Nogueira in the 64th minute. A.D.PADRE MIGUEL's André Luiz Mineiro got his second yellow card of the match in the 66th minute. The referee ordered André Luiz Mineiro off the ground. In the 67th match minute, A.D.PADRE MIGUEL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Luiz Mineiro to maneuver through the defense. A.D.PADRE MIGUEL's Gustavo de Godoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save A.D.PADRE MIGUEL from getting a goal against them. 73 minutes into the match, Basílio Nogueira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gustavo de Godoi, 1-7. After a rather tough play, A.D.PADRE MIGUEL's Rui Lima got a free kick in the 77th minute. Gustavo de Godoi was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Luiz Paulo de Sousa. Cristóvão Pires hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. A.D.PADRE MIGUEL's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Basílio Nogueira scored to the left of an out of position Gustavo de Godoi, making the score, 1-9.
