Elder de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ümit Sarbay in the 5th minute of play. Mustafa Necati Sıraç's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elder de Queiroz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. After 9 minutes of play, Catadão's Franklin Fonseca made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Birdal Sargınal was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Dráuzio França took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Birdal Sargınal to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Yorulan Defansa Gelsin's Ümit Sarbay got a free kick in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Necati Sıraç in the 21st minute of play forced Catadão's goalkeeper Elder de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kléberson Xavier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Birdal Sargınal made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dráuzio França in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Birdal Sargınal saved Yorulan Defansa Gelsin from getting behind. 25 minutes into the match, Vahit Yurdaer notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Catadão's Elder de Queiroz. Elder de Queiroz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dráuzio França fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birdal Sargınal having to interfere. Birdal Sargınal had great luck who in the 33rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Dráuzio França from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 34th minute, Franklin Fonseca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Birdal Sargınal was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 40th minute Mustafa Necati Sıraç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elder de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ümit Sarbay came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Yorulan Defansa Gelsin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ümit Sarbay couldn't finish the play. If Franklin Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ümit Sarbay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mustafa Necati Sıraç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elder de Queiroz having to interfere. Ümit Sarbay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Elder de Queiroz made a huge save. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Dráuzio França sped through Yorulan Defansa Gelsin's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Birdal Sargınal. In the 59th minute Kléberson Xavier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birdal Sargınal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Birdal Sargınal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dráuzio França in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Birdal Sargınal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Catadão's Elder de Queiroz got control of the ball when Ümit Sarbay tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elder de Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vahit Yurdaer in the 70th minute of the match. Elder de Queiroz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vahit Yurdaer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-2 in the 73 minute of play. After 76 minutes of play, Yorulan Defansa Gelsin's Ümit Sarbay made it 5-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dráuzio França took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Birdal Sargınal. Birdal Sargınal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kléberson Xavier in the 84th minute of play forced Yorulan Defansa Gelsin's goalkeeper Birdal Sargınal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Birdal Sargınal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dráuzio França's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. After 94 minutes, Dorian Silva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Catadão and the Yorulan Defansa Gelsin players grew even worse after the yellow card. Baysal Irgatbaşı was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 96th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Catadão were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Yorulan Defansa Gelsin for a fine match.
