Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven-Åke Forssell during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Puskas United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iustinian Vochin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olimpiu Vârnav in the 84th minute of play forced Puskas United's goalkeeper Viggo Britz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Puskas United's Mădălin Răduțu threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from 任笑竞, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Viggo Britz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olimpiu Vârnav in the 95th minute of the match.
