Domingo Cristofol scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rein Püss, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Sportivo Desamparados booed when JULM C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elmu Klausen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rein Püss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingo Cristofol, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thiago Caniggia in the 23rd minute of play forced JULM C.F.'s goalkeeper Rein Püss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute Peeter Hovi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluca Augusto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vambola Raig might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gianluca Augusto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vambola Raig ran back to his position shaking his head. Gianluca Augusto made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Vambola Raig sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Desamparados's Armando Jorrin got a free kick in the 30th minute. Helari Heinaru was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 31st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 34 played minutes Sportivo Desamparados got a freekick which was hit by Matias Haitz. Sportivo Desamparados's Hermengildo Valerio got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 46 minutes, Hermengildo Valerio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sportivo Desamparados's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermengildo Valerio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The supporters of JULM C.F. booed when Sportivo Desamparados was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Haitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thiago Caniggia got free with Rein Püss in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Matias Haitz hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 91st match minute, JULM C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilmar Hermaste to maneuver through the defense. 93 minutes into the game, Matias Haitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sportivo Desamparados's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave JULM C.F. the free kick. After 96th play minutes Tõnis Aug shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Gianluca Augusto and just under the crossbar into goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
