Malmö White Knights's Eddie Gallin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Andrade in the 3rd minute of play. After 4 played minutes Malmö White Knights got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Östman. After a defensive mix-up in Malmö White Knights's zone, Horácio Carvalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eddie Gallin came out of the goal and Horácio Carvalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. La Bestia Negra's Nuno Brodel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save La Bestia Negra from getting a goal against them. In the 15th minute Dário Leme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddie Gallin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 23 minutes, Dário Leme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Bestia Negra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dário Leme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute Allan Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddie Gallin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Herman Björck fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malmö White Knights's protests and gave Herman Björck a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Malmö White Knights's goalkeeper Eddie Gallin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Malmö White Knights getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Herbert Östman hit a great ball. In the 49th minute, Nuno Reis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eddie Gallin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After the first half La Bestia Negra were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Eddie Gallin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dário Leme went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Eddie Gallin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Malmö White Knights's Eddie Gallin got control of the ball when Allan Andrade tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 70th minute by Allan Andrade got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Eddie Gallin had great luck who in the 72ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Dário Leme from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Dário Leme put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Eddie Gallin. Dário Leme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Eddie Gallin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Karl-Johan Uggla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ola Jakobsson's late challenge caught a La Bestia Negra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ola Jakobsson helped the player get up and apologised. La Bestia Negra's Eurico Pernambucano was substituted for Horácio Carvalho. The Malmö White Knights fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. La Bestia Negra were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
