The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes of play, Powiśle Warszawa's Benito Gaufred made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Franco Bosso was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 8 minutes CLC Winter's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jacob Jakubowski who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Ryan Giggs heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 10 minutes into the match, Benito Gaufred had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Franco Bosso. CLC Winter's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benito Gaufred was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Benito Gaufred took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Franco Bosso. Franco Bosso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Ferdinando Battista's late challenge caught a Powiśle Warszawa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferdinando Battista helped the player get up and apologised. After 19 played minutes CLC Winter got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinando Battista. After 21 minutes of play, Powiśle Warszawa's Benito Gaufred made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Franco Bosso was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Jacob Jakubowski came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Powiśle Warszawa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacob Jakubowski couldn't finish the play. In the 29th minute of the match Powiśle Warszawa got a corner. CLC Winter's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jacob Jakubowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of CLC Winter's goalie and right to Cyryl Rukszcz. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. CLC Winter's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Andrea Niccolai hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Benito Gaufred received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Franco Bosso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Benito Gaufred had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Franco Bosso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Gaufred in the 52nd minute of play. With a little luck, CLC Winter's Franco Bosso got control of the ball when Benito Gaufred tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fortunato Daniele charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fortunato Daniele the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fortunato Daniele kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Benito Gaufred had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Franco Bosso. CLC Winter's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benito Gaufred was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. In the 67th minute, Benito Gaufred made a precise shot to the right of Franco Bosso. CLC Winter's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Ferdinando Battista was shown his second yellow card after 70 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to CLC Winter getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Ferdinando Battista hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the game, Powiśle Warszawa's Benito Gaufred nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franco Bosso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. In the 76th minute, Benito Gaufred made a precise shot to the right of Franco Bosso. CLC Winter's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Gaufred in the 85th minute of play forced CLC Winter's goalkeeper Franco Bosso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, CLC Winter's Cosimo Epifani got a free kick in the 86th minute. Jacob Jakubowski hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Powiśle Warszawa's Jacob Jakubowski got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The CLC Winter supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Powiśle Warszawa's performance. The match ended with a win for Powiśle Warszawa.
