Luciano de Lima started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Elano Madureira got a free kick in the 2nd minute. 4 minutes into the match, Luciano de Lima dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jean-Marie Pfaff, 1-0. With his leg Jean-Marie Pfaff managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Elano Madureira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 9 played minutes Brujas KV got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Lauro. Jean-Marie Pfaff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano de Lima in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of Brujas KV booed when Tarrasque Voador F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Valladares didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Vinícius Godoi got a free kick in the 19th minute. Márcio Barral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Justo Videl went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 25th match minute, Tarrasque Voador F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinícius Godoi to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Jean-Marie Pfaff threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luciano de Lima, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jean-Marie Pfaff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeferson Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jean-Marie Pfaff made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elano Madureira in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Brujas KV's goalkeeper Jean-Marie Pfaff had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elano Madureira. Jean-Marie Pfaff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elano Madureira in the 41st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Justo Videl in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Márcio Barral saved Tarrasque Voador F.C. from getting behind.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ronaldinho Ronaldinho made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Elano Madureira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jean-Marie Pfaff made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 59 minutes into the match, Elano Madureira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jean-Marie Pfaff. Brujas KV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elano Madureira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Elano Madureira sped through Brujas KV's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jean-Marie Pfaff. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronaldinho Ronaldinho got free with Márcio Barral in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th match minute, Brujas KV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldinho Ronaldinho to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Brujas KV booed when Tarrasque Voador F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronaldinho Ronaldinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Márcio Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jean-Marie Pfaff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeferson Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Márcio Barral was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Bernardino Blai capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bernardino Blai really showed his touch with that goal: 4-2. Rigoberto Lauro hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Jean-Marie Pfaff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano de Lima in the 87th minute of play. Luciano de Lima struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Jean-Marie Pfaff didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tarrasque Voador F.C.. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tarrasque Voador F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Brujas KV had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
