An unexpectedly hard shot by Tin Kula in the 13th minute of play forced ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's goalkeeper Modesto Weterio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Lucio Nabar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabrizio Foddis was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Modesto Weterio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristoforo Proietto went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Carlo Di Clemente managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maritek FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlo Di Clemente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Modesto Weterio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luis Lleir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Fabrizio Foddis made a huge save. ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's Modesto Weterio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tin Kula in the 38th minute of play. Modesto Weterio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmondo Gulli in the 39th minute of play. Fabrizio Foddis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Xabat in the 43rd minute of play. In the 47th minute, Lucio Nabar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristoforo Proietto in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Modesto Weterio saved ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ from getting behind.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Narciso Xabat stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With his leg Modesto Weterio managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Maritek FC's Cristoforo Proietto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fabrizio Foddis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucio Nabar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maritek FC made a substitution. Ennio Campana replaced Evert Rudkvist. Maritek FC's Fabrizio Foddis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Xabat in the 80th minute of play. With a little luck, ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's Modesto Weterio got control of the ball when Tin Kula tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Tin Kula sped through ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Modesto Weterio. Maritek FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
