With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edelmiro Haimar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edelmiro Haimar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Bertassi in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, CRISDIELDAN's Fausto Arce got a free kick in the 11th minute. Despidida AFC's Edelmiro Haimar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Carlos Tande in the 16th minute of play. Eriberto Moura made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Armando Peruanton sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of CRISDIELDAN booed when Despidida AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Ubarna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eriberto Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Herensuge in the 41st minute of the match. Régis Bueno got his second yellow card in the match during the 45th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, CRISDIELDAN's Régis Bueno got a free kick in the 45th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aage Hill to make the kick off. Caco de Carvalho hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The coaching staff of CRISDIELDAN protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Luís Fábio Vides had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 55th minute, Luís Fábio Vides hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Isaias Oihan came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Despidida AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaias Oihan couldn't finish the play. Gonçalo Bertassi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Haimar having to interfere. Eriberto Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Herensuge in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Gonçalo Bertassi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CRISDIELDAN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Gonçalo Bertassi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Haimar having to interfere.
