In the 4th minute of the match, Tzenko Stanimirov got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kaj Hellgren was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Kaj Hellgren stood somewhat misplaced when Iliyan Imov came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 4 minute. Lulcho Pirov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Bergendahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nikolay Bangeev's late challenge caught a Al-Kungshöjd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nikolay Bangeev helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to OSTROVA getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Nikolay Bangeev hit a great ball. Lulcho Pirov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Benet in the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Magnus Åman in the 14th minute of play forced OSTROVA's goalkeeper Lulcho Pirov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in OSTROVA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! OSTROVA:s Lulcho Pirov showed great skill when he stopped Henry Benet:s penalty. Lulcho Pirov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell-Arne Löv in the 19th minute of play. Lulcho Pirov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Benet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the game, Jörn Palmquist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Al-Kungshöjd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OSTROVA the free kick. Lulcho Pirov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Bergendahl in the 45th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Al-Kungshöjd would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
