Jorge Valério showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hieronim Waselewicz in the 17th minute of the match. In the 25th match minute, Żuberia United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tymoteusz Zbikowski to maneuver through the defense. A nice corner shot did that Jesualdo Valadão got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Walery Kolano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sabino Aguiar hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Jorge Valério made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arkadiusz Milik in the 30th minute. After 35 minutes Ponte do Carro's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wincenty Blicharz who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Wincenty Blicharz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ponte do Carro's Jorge Valério did a great save. After a rather tough play, Ponte do Carro's Hilário Campelo got a free kick in the 36th minute. Daniel Nakonieczny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Valério having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Jacek Grabowicz made the kick off in the second half. When Hieronim Waselewicz came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Żuberia United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hieronim Waselewicz couldn't finish the play. The Ponte do Carro supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ponte do Carro would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
