Ubatuba's Charles de Brito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Ubatuba from getting a goal against them. If Eurico Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Charles de Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eurico Peixoto, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Valdomiro Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Acácio Vasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Paulo Pereira in the 76th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ubatuba's zone, Eurico Peixoto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charles de Brito came out of the goal and Eurico Peixoto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Charles de Brito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amauri Lago in the 90th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romeu Gaspar in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Acácio Vasco saved Ibis Football Club from getting behind. The Ibis Football Club supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ibis Football Club would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
