Shaan Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Štefan Gyeneš, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. A nice corner shot did that Matúš Martin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Shaan Kahn quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Eugen Zoch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 played minutes Feyenoord Malinovo got a freekick which was hit by Matej Cipa. Eduard Novosedlík received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Shaan Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Feyenoord Malinovo's Eduard Novosedlík dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
