Alcatraz F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eriberto Crescencio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alcatraz F.C's Niceto Remigio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Chumo in the 25th minute of play. Los Liquisue FC's Pablo Sazon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Los Liquisue FC from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anacleto Bonifaco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Ulises Celipe came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Los Liquisue FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulises Celipe couldn't finish the play. Niceto Remigio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anacleto Bonifaco showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 54 minute of play. Pablo Faro hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Alcatraz F.C's Alejo Romano got a free kick in the 69th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anacleto Bonifaco in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niceto Remigio saved Alcatraz F.C from getting behind. The supporters of Los Liquisue FC booed when Alcatraz F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Misael didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anacleto Bonifaco in the 84th minute of play forced Alcatraz F.C's goalkeeper Niceto Remigio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jairo Remir fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Liquisue FC's protests and gave Jairo Remir a yellow card for diving instead. Jairo Remir hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Reynaldo Tome kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Anacleto Bonifaco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Niceto Remigio firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the final whistle sounded Los Liquisue FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Alcatraz F.C.
