But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xerxes Doro couldn't finish the play. Yong Moore was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 35 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, one of Fenerbahçe S.K.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fenerbahçe S.K.. If Jiang Lang Kun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute Korneliusz Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kendrick Holland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Kendrick Holland was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 78th minute, Korneliusz Barna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Batalionul U23 Dorobanti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. Korneliusz Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
