Evaristo Teofilio took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fausto Abadia. Fausto Abadia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Fausto Abadia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Iigo in the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Ambrosio Etxatxu made a precise shot to the right of Fausto Abadia. EL CORTO FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. The EL CORTO FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BFC 1982 were winning 1-3.

The wind increased when Bernardino Manilan made the kick off in the second half. Ambrosio Etxatxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Fausto Abadia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as BFC 1982's Edgard Iigo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fausto Abadia. That made the score 1-4 after 56 minutes of play. Fausto Abadia made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Evaristo Teofilio sent off a good shot on target. In the 62nd minute, Orlando Txomin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damian Firmo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Prospero Veto. BFC 1982's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, EL CORTO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Iigo came free, but Fausto Abadia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Teobaldo Lamberto fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EL CORTO FC's protests and gave Teobaldo Lamberto a yellow card for diving instead. After 66 played minutes EL CORTO FC got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Lamberto. In the 68th minute Ambrosio Etxatxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Abadia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the EL CORTO FC defense, Evaristo Teofilio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fausto Abadia. The EL CORTO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fausto Abadia should have stopped the shot. After 83 minutes of play, BFC 1982's Orlando Txomin made it 2-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fausto Abadia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fausto Abadia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ambrosio Etxatxu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-7 in the 92 minute of play. After some careless play in the EL CORTO FC defense, Ambrosio Etxatxu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fausto Abadia. The EL CORTO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fausto Abadia should have stopped the shot. BFC 1982's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
