Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Titas Dalinkevičius in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albrecht Bollwächter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toni Hennrich in the 12th minute of play forced Hexo Utd's goalkeeper Basarab Baldovinescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Hexo Utd's Paulius Rožėnas in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Lilli's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Hexo Utd booed when FC Lilli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toni Hennrich didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albrecht Bollwächter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulius Rožėnas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulius Rožėnas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albrecht Bollwächter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the last second Basarab Baldovinescu throw himself and got hold of the ball when Toni Hennrich in the 33rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Albrecht Bollwächter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulius Rožėnas in the 36th minute of the match. In the 42nd match minute, Hexo Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artūras Alksmantas to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Albrecht Bollwächter was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Paulius Rožėnas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Paulius Rožėnas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Paulius Rožėnas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Immanuel Schommer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Lilli made a substitution. Reinhold Bensch replaced Miroslav Nolting. Immanuel Schommer hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Basarab Baldovinescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnd Wegel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute Titas Dalinkevičius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albrecht Bollwächter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Hexo Utd's Paulius Rožėnas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Albrecht Bollwächter. That made the score 1-2 after 81 minutes of play. The audience was convinced that Paulius Rožėnas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Albrecht Bollwächter was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Albrecht Bollwächter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Titas Dalinkevičius in the 87th minute of the match. In the 91st match minute, Hexo Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vykintas Jasilionis to maneuver through the defense. Vaidotas Indriulis charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vaidotas Indriulis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hexo Utd's Basarab Baldovinescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinhold Bensch in the 95th minute of play. Xaver Franz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basarab Baldovinescu having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Hexo Utd eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
