After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Jairo Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pistolero Tricolor FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jairo Domingues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Veiga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cassandros Elite Team's Ivan Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrianinho Trevisan in the 14th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Jairo Domingues reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ivan Veiga. The goal made the score 1-1. 22 minutes into the match, Pistolero Tricolor FC's goal looked a bit too open when Máximo Barcelos came free, but Rui Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 26 minutes, António Figueiras mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cassandros Elite Team and the Pistolero Tricolor FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Pistolero Tricolor FC booed when Cassandros Elite Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. António Figueiras didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernandão Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Rui Moura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Máximo Barcelos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Fernandão Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cassandros Elite Team's Ivan Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernandão Trigo in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Fernandão Trigo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivan Veiga. Cassandros Elite Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernandão Trigo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Máximo Barcelos to make the kick off. Cassandros Elite Team's Ivan Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Domingues in the 55th minute of play. Ivan Veiga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernandão Trigo went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Jairo Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Veiga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jairo Domingues's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cassandros Elite Team's goalkeeper Ivan Veiga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fernandão Trigo took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Veiga. Ivan Veiga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Fernandão Trigo succeeded in the game's 77th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-1. Ivan Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Domingues in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Fernandão Trigo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pistolero Tricolor FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. Pistolero Tricolor FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jairo Domingues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cassandros Elite Team's Máximo Barcelos got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ivan Veiga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee ended the match the Pistolero Tricolor FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
