The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. When the match had been going on for 46 minutes, Yupandú FC's Eloy Betadur got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Bartlomiej Sala. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The audience was convinced that Everardo Emesto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bartlomiej Sala was relentless in the 87th minute of the game.
