The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Panos Stelakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Hondaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Adamantios Balafoutis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Ieltxu Orbaneja made a huge save. Panos Stelakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Hondaro in the 10th minute of the match. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Reynardo Arrate suffered a sore thigh after 12 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Markos Pittarakis charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Markos Pittarakis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Imperio Catatumbo de Lara booed when Trifillia.FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Markos Pittarakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adamantios Balafoutis got free with Ieltxu Orbaneja in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Ieltxu Orbaneja successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Ieltxu Orbaneja proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Imperio Catatumbo de Lara from getting a goal against them. Adamantios Balafoutis kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Ikatz Mera took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Panos Stelakos. Panos Stelakos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Panos Stelakos came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's William Shakespeare. But to his dismay, William Shakespeare quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adamantios Balafoutis in the 35th minute of play forced Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's goalkeeper Ieltxu Orbaneja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trifillia.FC's Panos Stelakos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Shakespeare in the 40th minute of play. Panos Stelakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Hondaro in the 40th minute of the match. Ieltxu Orbaneja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adamantios Balafoutis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aggelos Balafas hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After 47 played minutes Trifillia.FC got a freekick which was hit by Panagiotis Trilofos. In the 48th match minute, Trifillia.FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Panagiotis Trilofos to maneuver through the defense. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Rik Cores got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adamantios Balafoutis to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, William Shakespeare reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Panos Stelakos. The goal made the score 0-3. Rik Cores succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 62nd playminute. Trifillia.FC's Panos Stelakos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Trifillia.FC from getting a goal against them. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Osmundo Puertas was substituted for William Shakespeare. Luisito Novales lost his temper 72 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Imperio Catatumbo de Lara! Imperio Catatumbo de Lara were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Trifillia.FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rik Cores took the corner. The corner led Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Rik Cores to fire away a dangerous shot which Panos Stelakos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Osmundo Puertas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 83rd minute Osmundo Puertas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Panos Stelakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stamatis Paschalis hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Hitz Alva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Panos Stelakos made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Osmundo Puertas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Panos Stelakos. That made the score 2-5 in the 93 minute of play. Aureo Valenciaga hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
