Alifonso Apablaza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eloy Vela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Modesto Iriarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Modesto Iriarte in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eloy Vela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eloy Vela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juliano Armstrong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Modesto Iriarte took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eloy Vela. Eloy Vela dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Julio Dudagoitia got free with Eloy Vela in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 16 minutes into the match, Salmuera CP's goalkeeper Eloy Vela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Modesto Iriarte. In the 18th minute, Alifonso Apablaza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eloy Vela was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. José Julio Dudagoitia came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eloy Vela could save by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Alifonso Apablaza kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eloy Vela. That made the score 3-0 in the 23 minute of play. Eloy Vela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Iriarte in the 33rd minute of the match. Eloy Vela was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but José Julio Dudagoitia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 35 minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Salmuera CP's goal looked a bit too open when Alifonso Apablaza came free, but Eloy Vela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Cobresal's José Julio Dudagoitia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eloy Vela. That made the score 5-0 after 45 minutes of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Horacio Nevada made the kick off in the second half. Horacio Nevada hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. 51 minutes into the match, Salmuera CP's goal looked a bit too open when Alifonso Apablaza came free, but Eloy Vela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 52nd minute, Lucio Primeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute Horacio Nevada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantin Ionaș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 63 played minutes Salmuera CP got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Pancho. Mateo Pacho's late challenge caught a Cobresal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mateo Pacho helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Salmuera CP getting a freekick after 65 minutes play.
