Ştefan Vârlan came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Käka Puck BK's Evan Bugelli. But to his dismay, Evan Bugelli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 6th minute Evan Bugelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ştefan Vârlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by Purcaresti CSS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Erkin Ergüven was slow to take the kick. During this time Käka Puck BK's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Käka Puck BK getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Valentín Barco hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Purcaresti CSS defense, Evan Bugelli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ştefan Vârlan. The Purcaresti CSS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ştefan Vârlan should have stopped the shot. Ştefan Vârlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evan Bugelli in the 16th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evan Bugelli in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ştefan Vârlan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ştefan Vârlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evan Bugelli in the 20th minute of the match. Ştefan Vârlan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evan Bugelli went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Purcaresti CSS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Erkin Ergüven was slow to take the kick. During this time Käka Puck BK's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Käka Puck BK's Erkin Ergüven to fire away a dangerous shot which Ştefan Vârlan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Evan Bugelli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ştefan Vârlan having to make a save. If Evan Bugelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ştefan Vârlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodor Jokiranta, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After a rather tough play, Käka Puck BK's Sten Sandell got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Linus Sjödin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantin Negru, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. Käka Puck BK's Gunnar Löfgren was substituted for Bobby Bobadilla. Käka Puck BK made a substitution. Paris Amsterdam replaced Teodor Jokiranta. After 61 played minutes Käka Puck BK got a freekick which was hit by Sten Sandell. Ştefan Vârlan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bilge Kağan Samih showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 69 minute of play. Constantin Negru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Linus Sjödin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Purcaresti CSS's goal looked a bit too open when Paris Amsterdam came free, but Ştefan Vârlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Purcaresti CSS's Ştefan Vârlan got control of the ball when Bilge Kağan Samih tried to sneak it across the goal line.
