But to his dismay, Loco Bugedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 39 minutes into the match, Sαηgrε Azuɭ's Fabio Manuelo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joel Caton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alvaro Henry hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, Atilano Rojas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teodoro Bidun. Sαηgrε Azuɭ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Atilano Rojas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Rojas in the 46th minute of play forced Sαηgrε Azuɭ's goalkeeper Teodoro Bidun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Atilano Rojas made a kick off. Teodoro Bidun stood somewhat misplaced when Atilano Rojas came free in front of goal and shot 0-6 to the left of him in the 54 minute. Loja S.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabricio Vedeja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Hidalgo Gallegos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Teodoro Bidun. That made the score 0-9 in the 90 minute of play.
