Beppe Pozzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lionel-Andrés Messia in the 7th minute of the match. Dexter Morgan VR46's Ciro Buonanno got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Basmane Texas's Ulu Hayat got control of the ball when Ciro Buonanno tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fortunato Brandolini got free with Ulu Hayat in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lionel-Andrés Messia in the 20th minute of play forced Dexter Morgan VR46's goalkeeper Beppe Pozzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Dexter Morgan VR46 getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Fortunato Brandolini hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Dexter Morgan VR46's zone, Kaptan Kıvılcım stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beppe Pozzo came out of the goal and Kaptan Kıvılcım tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lionel-Andrés Messia in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Beppe Pozzo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Basmane Texas booed when Dexter Morgan VR46 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fortunato Brandolini didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute Lionel-Andrés Messia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beppe Pozzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Sammartino hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Lionel-Andrés Messia took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Beppe Pozzo. Beppe Pozzo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

52 minutes into the match, Dexter Morgan VR46's goal looked a bit too open when Dana Kazım came free, but Beppe Pozzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulu Hayat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Demetrio Roberto in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Basmane Texas's Lionel-Andrés Messia fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Ulu Hayat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Buonanno in the 57th minute of play. Beppe Pozzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dana Kazım, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Beppe Pozzo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lionel-Andrés Messia in the 59th minute. After 65 played minutes Dana Kazım rounded Dexter Morgan VR46's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dana Kazım in the 68th minute of play forced Dexter Morgan VR46's goalkeeper Beppe Pozzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dexter Morgan VR46's Beppe Pozzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dana Kazım in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Basmane Texas's goalkeeper Ulu Hayat, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ulu Hayat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Demetrio Roberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, Fausto Pennetta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Basmane Texas made a substitution. Oğuzalp Nurbaki replaced Lionel-Andrés Messia. In the 74th match minute, Dexter Morgan VR46 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Pennetta to maneuver through the defense. Basmane Texas's Kaptan Kıvılcım shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 75th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Beppe Pozzo but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dana Kazım in the 82nd minute of play forced Dexter Morgan VR46's goalkeeper Beppe Pozzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beppe Pozzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dana Kazım, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Oğuzalp Nurbaki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Beppe Pozzo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7.
