The supporters of Basmane Texas booed when Al-Slottshöjden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isak Deckbergh didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basmane Texas's Ulu Hayat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isak Deckbergh in the 12th minute of play. Ulu Hayat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reggie Clement, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Isak Deckbergh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Basmane Texas's goal looked a bit too open when Gösta Mattsson came free, but Ulu Hayat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reggie Clement in the 29th minute of play forced Basmane Texas's goalkeeper Ulu Hayat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Dana Kazım managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Basmane Texas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dana Kazım was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Lionel-Andrés Messia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Basmane Texas's supporters rose to their feet, but Lionel-Andrés Messia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eddie Arvidsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eddie Arvidsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lionel-Andrés Messia, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Lucas Pååk hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Lionel-Andrés Messia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After 51 minutes, Lionel-Andrés Messia made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Al-Slottshöjden's Eddie Arvidsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Al-Slottshöjden getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Isak Deckbergh hit a great ball. In the 56th match minute, Al-Slottshöjden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reggie Clement to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Lionel-Andrés Messia sped through Al-Slottshöjden's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eddie Arvidsson. When Dana Kazım came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Basmane Texas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dana Kazım couldn't finish the play. Dana Kazım blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eddie Arvidsson having to make a save. Ulu Hayat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reggie Clement in the 79th minute. Lionel-Andrés Messia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddie Arvidsson having to interfere. Eddie Arvidsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dana Kazım in the 86th minute of play. After 89th play minutes Dana Kazım shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Eddie Arvidsson and just under the crossbar into goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Basmane Texas fans cheered their team off the field, for while Al-Slottshöjden had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
