Xalbador Gamiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleuterio Reina in the 12th minute of play. Lop Ramallal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Raúl Gasso made a huge save. 21 minutes into the game, GreenUnited's Zarbonin Sotuela nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raúl Gasso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 27 minutes into the match, GreenUnited's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Ballesteros came free, but Xalbador Gamiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eleuterio Reina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Lop Ramallal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gartzen Pons sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adán Palacios made a kick off. Sarracino Ser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eleuterio Reina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Macario Runs in the 62nd minute of play forced Real Armal F.C.'s goalkeeper Raúl Gasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florencio Antoniano kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Dimo Bratuti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacques Estruch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xalbador Gamiz having to interfere. The supporters of GreenUnited booed when Real Armal F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adán Palacios didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raúl Gasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Macario Runs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Macario Runs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Fernando Ballesteros fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Armal F.C.'s protests and gave Fernando Ballesteros a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 81 minutes, Sarracino Ser managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GreenUnited's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sarracino Ser was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Adán Palacios notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of GreenUnited's Xalbador Gamiz. Xalbador Gamiz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
