Eloy Paz hit a great ball. After 29 played minutes, Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Du Le Yuan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Delmar Katia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pombal 2003 F.C. reached it. Delmar Katia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvaldo Porto in the 33rd minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edvaldo Porto to make the kick off. Kauã Lagos short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Delmar Katia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gilson Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvio Osasun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rafael Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
