The Mount Oliver AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vorwärts Lübeck were winning 0-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Helge Pihlberg made a kick off. Hortêncio Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Iraunkor having to interfere. In the 54th minute Helge Pihlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Iraunkor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruperto Iraunkor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Helge Pihlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, Mount Oliver AFC's goalkeeper Ruperto Iraunkor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Förster. Rafael Förster came free with the goalkeeper in the 58th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ruperto Iraunkor could save by the left post. Mount Oliver AFC's Ruperto Iraunkor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Helge Pihlberg in the 60th minute of play. The corner ended in Mohammad Zeghdoud almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vorwärts Lübeck's Abubakar Noach did a great save. Vorwärts Lübeck's Abubakar Noach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sungur Pala in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Alonzo Cayo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Vorwärts Lübeck's Abubakar Noach. Abubakar Noach was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ruperto Iraunkor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hansjörg Pothmer, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute, Hansjörg Pothmer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ruperto Iraunkor. The goal made the score 1-3. In the 82nd minute of the match Vorwärts Lübeck got a corner. Mount Oliver AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Waldo Gawletta ran over to the corner to take the kick.
