The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Radamel-Falcao García stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lucas Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ainar Põld, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Radamel-Falcao García's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pepe Santoro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Ainar Põld scored 1-6 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucas Duarte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Independiente getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Raimundo Frans hit a great ball. Pepillo Servin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Pepe Santoro made a huge save. Independiente's Pepe Santoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pepillo Servin in the 83rd minute of play. Pepillo Servin spun around in front of the goal 85 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Independiente's goal. Lucas Duarte came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Independiente's Emánuel Borsó. But to his dismay, Emánuel Borsó quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-6. 92 minutes into the match, Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Olivier Ancel came free, but Pepe Santoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucas Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ximenes Castilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. E L C O K O F C ® E V G ® walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
