The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aaron Tiso during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cruzeiro Esporte Clube booed when Xeneizes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulgencio Peru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Arthur Bufi made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fulgencio Peru got free with Arthur Bufi in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brock Friend recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Brock Friend had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelo Gagriel. Xeneizes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Brock Friend was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. Xeneizes played a much better game than Cruzeiro Esporte Clube and deserved their victory. The Cruzeiro Esporte Clube players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
