The corner ended in Hans Gulliksson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Verwachting's Herbert Hilhorst did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valer Zăvoianu in the 11th minute of play forced Verwachting's goalkeeper Herbert Hilhorst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herbert Hilhorst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ömer Ali, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★ were awarded a corner. Robin Brandt went to the cornerflag to take it. ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★'s Robin Brandt was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Herbert Hilhorst in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 29th minute, Lucas Skalskiy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herbert Hilhorst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ömer Ali, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Ömer Ali reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Herbert Hilhorst. The goal made the score 1-0. 38 minutes into the match, Ömer Ali dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Herbert Hilhorst, 2-0. Fernán Moyano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Twan Hesseling's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. After 44 played minutes Verwachting got a freekick which was hit by Phoenix Soare. Phoenix Soare made in the 46th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Oliver van Kampen however managed to control. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Christijan Schreuder might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernán Moyano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christijan Schreuder ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Japke de Boer got free with Fernán Moyano in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Estevan Vives in the 58th minute of play forced Verwachting's goalkeeper Herbert Hilhorst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herbert Hilhorst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ömer Ali, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★ made a substitution. Emre Wölfle replaced Ömer Ali. After 74 minutes Verwachting's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. After a defensive mix-up in Verwachting's zone, Emre Wölfle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herbert Hilhorst came out of the goal and Emre Wölfle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
