The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes Santo Amaro AC got a freekick which was hit by Ernani Martins. After 5 played minutes Santo Amaro AC got a freekick which was hit by Raí Bezerra. Deportivo Pergamino's Nunez Oroitz got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Deportivo Pergamino's Roberto Bonano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Eduardo Marquez in the 7th minute of play. The supporters of Deportivo Pergamino booed when Santo Amaro AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Hermes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Hudson Arósio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Carolo Jerardo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Hudson Arósio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Hudson Arósio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Jerardo in the 24th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Carolo Jerardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hudson Arósio was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Eduard Polozov's late challenge caught a Deportivo Pergamino's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduard Polozov helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th match minute, Santo Amaro AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduard Polozov to maneuver through the defense. Nunez Oroitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hudson Arósio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduard Polozov in the 42nd minute of play forced Deportivo Pergamino's goalkeeper Roberto Bonano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roberto Bonano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduard Polozov in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute Wincent Pawlik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Bonano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carolo Jerardo to strike the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes Santo Amaro AC got a freekick which was hit by Raí Bezerra. Hudson Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Jerardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After having played for 58 minutes, Carolo Jerardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Pergamino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carolo Jerardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carolo Jerardo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hudson Arósio having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Jerardo in the 60th minute of play forced Santo Amaro AC's goalkeeper Hudson Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deportivo Pergamino made a substitution. Natalio Lon replaced Anthony Tiberio. Wincent Pawlik hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Gustavo Che ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Osvaldo Mendebal managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 79 minutes into the match, Deportivo Pergamino's Carolo Jerardo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hudson Arósio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Roberto Bonano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduard Polozov in the 80th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Carolo Jerardo notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Santo Amaro AC's Hudson Arósio. Hudson Arósio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hudson Arósio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Jerardo in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes into the game, Deportivo Pergamino's Carolo Jerardo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hudson Arósio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 89th minute, Carolo Jerardo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hudson Arósio was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Deportivo Pergamino's Kang Li got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Deportivo Pergamino's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
