Sporting Burgas's supporters rose to their feet, but Ke Xiong Chen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anier Urtats breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 36 minutes of play, Sporting Burgas's Vintilă Ghițulescu made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anier Urtats was left in no man's land by his defense there! 39 minutes into the match, Ke Xiong Chen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anier Urtats, 3-2. Astor Eguntsenti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Perpiñán having to interfere. Anier Urtats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davor Šuker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Astor Eguntsenti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Astor Eguntsenti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Álvaro Perpiñán tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Astor Eguntsenti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. C.A. Línea Rotativa's Anier Urtats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cedro Pantoja in the 57th minute of play. Astor Eguntsenti struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Álvaro Perpiñán didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. Línea Rotativa. In the 61stth minute of the game Vintilă Ghițulescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. Línea Rotativa's Anier Urtats was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Álvaro Perpiñán made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Astor Eguntsenti sent off a good shot on target. 67 minutes into the match, Sporting Burgas's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Eguntsenti came free, but Álvaro Perpiñán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute Vintilă Ghițulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Urtats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Sporting Burgas's Álvaro Perpiñán got control of the ball when Astor Eguntsenti tried to sneak it across the goal line. Astor Eguntsenti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Álvaro Perpiñán tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sporting Burgas's Antonio Fioriti was substituted for Vintilă Ghițulescu. C.A. Línea Rotativa's Rolando Pasqual was substituted for Astor Eguntsenti. The supporters of C.A. Línea Rotativa booed when Sporting Burgas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seve Sevilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Pasqual in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Álvaro Perpiñán, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Álvaro Perpiñán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Pasqual in the 85th minute of play. Juan Netto hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Sporting Burgas were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing C.A. Línea Rotativa to leave the ground with a draw.
