An unexpectedly hard shot by Phaiakes Paraskevopoulos in the 3rd minute of play forced Atlético de Blumenau's goalkeeper Murillo Peixoto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th match minute, Atlético de Blumenau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Turban to maneuver through the defense. Murillo Peixoto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Phaiakes Paraskevopoulos in the 11th minute of play. Murillo Peixoto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Calleri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Atlético de Blumenau's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Calleri came free, but Murillo Peixoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amedeo Mameli in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexandros Petridis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 28 minutes into the match, FC NATIONAL's goalkeeper Alexandros Petridis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amedeo Mameli. With a little luck, FC NATIONAL's Alexandros Petridis got control of the ball when Amedeo Mameli tried to sneak it across the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Jonathan Calleri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Murillo Peixoto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonathan Calleri to strike the kick off in the second half. Alexandros Petridis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Turban in the 51st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Haroldo Nazario during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, Atlético de Blumenau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Nazario to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Amedeo Mameli notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of FC NATIONAL's Alexandros Petridis. The supporters of FC NATIONAL booed when Atlético de Blumenau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Nazario didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Calleri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 73 minutes, Wilson Guerra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético de Blumenau and the FC NATIONAL players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 73 played minutes Atlético de Blumenau got a freekick which was hit by Wilson Guerra. In the 74th minute, Jânio Massa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80thth minute of the game Jonathan Calleri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético de Blumenau's Murillo Peixoto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 81 minutes into the match, FC NATIONAL's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Turban came free, but Alexandros Petridis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomás Turban scored 3-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexandros Petridis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
