Zavier Wagner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naim Cheche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fire Breathers FC's Celso Eate quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Roberto Luna, made in the 24th minute of the game. Fire Breathers FC's Zavier Wagner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naim Cheche in the 36th minute of play. Zavier Wagner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Pechal, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Fire Breathers FC made a substitution. Caetano Reyo replaced Dei Mercado. Stanislav Tishinov's late challenge caught a Fire Breathers FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain.
