After 4 minutes, Cristiano Esparteiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting Clube Palmela and the ZAFIRO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 4 played minutes Sporting Clube Palmela got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Esparteiro. Viorel Creangă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 黄洋榕 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aurel Trifan's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. With a little luck, Sporting Clube Palmela's 黄洋榕 got control of the ball when Aurel Trifan tried to sneak it across the goal line. The ZAFIRO FC fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when ZAFIRO FC's Viorel Creangă looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With his leg 黄洋榕 managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when ZAFIRO FC's Viorel Creangă fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Viorel Creangă spun around in front of the goal 17 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Sporting Clube Palmela's goal. 黄洋榕 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viorel Creangă in the 21st minute of play. After 22nd play minutes Viorel Creangă shot 2-0, a short shot which went by 黄洋榕 and just under the crossbar into goal. ZAFIRO FC's Armando Paredes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélio Ferrão in the 25th minute of play. 黄洋榕 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viorel Creangă in the 26th minute. After 27 minutes Sporting Clube Palmela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Maximo Argina who took care of the corner kick. In the 29th match minute, Sporting Clube Palmela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélio Ferrão to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Sporting Clube Palmela's 黄洋榕 got control of the ball when Viorel Creangă tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viorel Creangă in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 黄洋榕 saved Sporting Clube Palmela from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viorel Creangă was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Viorel Creangă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 黄洋榕 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Clube Palmela's zone, Armando Egoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 黄洋榕 came out of the goal and Armando Egoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Viorel Creangă's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 黄洋榕 was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aurel Trifan in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 黄洋榕 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 70 minutes into the match, Hélio Ferrão notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of ZAFIRO FC's Armando Paredes. Armando Paredes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 73 minutes, Viorel Creangă managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ZAFIRO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viorel Creangă was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th minute ZAFIRO FC were awarded a corner. Maximo Argina went to the cornerflag to take it. When ZAFIRO FC's Viorel Creangă in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. ZAFIRO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporting Clube Palmela the free kick. The supporters of ZAFIRO FC booed when Sporting Clube Palmela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseu Patrício didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viorel Creangă in the 92nd minute of play forced Sporting Clube Palmela's goalkeeper 黄洋榕 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ZAFIRO FC had won after a very even match.
