Xapetuba Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Viorel Creangă was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patrick Neiva in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Paredes saved ZAFIRO FC from getting behind. In the 11th minute, Viorel Creangă made a precise shot to the right of Célio do Valle. Xapetuba Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Célio do Valle came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by ZAFIRO FC's Viorel Creangă. But to his dismay, Viorel Creangă quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After a rather tough play, Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Flávio Matos got a free kick in the 17th minute. Célio do Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viorel Creangă in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Egoi in the 20th minute of play forced Xapetuba Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Célio do Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Jacinto Paraíba ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Armando Paredes. Armando Paredes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Amauri de Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 37th match minute, ZAFIRO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurel Trifan to maneuver through the defense. Célio do Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viorel Creangă in the 41st minute of the match. A beautiful save bye Xapetuba Futebol Clube's goalie prevented a goal. 46 minutes into the match, Xapetuba Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Egoi came free, but Célio do Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Patrick Neiva to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Viorel Creangă reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Célio do Valle. The goal made the score 1-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacinto Paraíba in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Paredes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Célio do Valle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viorel Creangă in the 62nd minute. Célio do Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viorel Creangă in the 68th minute of the match. After 86 minutes of play, ZAFIRO FC's Aurel Trifan made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Célio do Valle was left in no man's land by his defense there! ZAFIRO FC's Armando Paredes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laerte Ramalho in the 92nd minute of play.
