In the 4th minute, Paolo Rossi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leo Dauwen. The goal made the score 1-0. After 9 minutes Bacardi FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Juliusz Julien who took care of the corner kick. Giacomo Casanova showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoud Van Gestel in the 11th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Montesacro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roni Coryn came free, but Giacomo Casanova reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Bacardi FC's Roni Coryn, in the 16th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Bacardi FC. When Loco Palermo came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Montesacro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Loco Palermo couldn't finish the play. Paolo Rossi struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Leo Dauwen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montesacro FC. 26 minutes into the game, Paolo Rossi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leo Dauwen. Paolo Rossi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoud Van Gestel in the 29th minute of play forced Montesacro FC's goalkeeper Giacomo Casanova to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th match minute, Bacardi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bob Leerbels to maneuver through the defense. Roni Coryn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute, Roni Coryn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Paolo Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th match minute, Bacardi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoud Van Gestel to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roni Coryn to make the kick off. Falko Schlender hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bacardi FC's goalkeeper Leo Dauwen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 61st minute, Loco Palermo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 66 played minutes Bacardi FC got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Deville. Bacardi FC's Pieter-Jan Anteunis was substituted for Geert-Jan Tuytgans. Thomas Deville kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 67th minute of the match Juliusz Julien shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leo Dauwen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A nice corner shot did that Juliusz Julien got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Leo Dauwen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Bacardi FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Falko Schlender hit a great ball. In the 71stth minute of the game Paolo Rossi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bacardi FC's Leo Dauwen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 73rdth minute of the game Dimitar Berbatov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bacardi FC's Leo Dauwen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leo Dauwen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eraldo Di Filippo, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute, Paolo Rossi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Bacardi FC's Arnoud Van Gestel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Giacomo Casanova narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 86 minutes Montesacro FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Boruc Wykowski who took care of the corner kick. Boruc Wykowski made a great header on Bacardi FC's corner, it was just that Montesacro FC's Giacomo Casanova managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 88thth minute of the game Paolo Rossi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bacardi FC's Leo Dauwen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leo Dauwen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Rossi in the 93rd minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Montesacro FC had played much better football throughout.
