Spectators: 166 (Terracing: 125, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alex Garrido kicked off to start the match. Sixten Sjö could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Chico Vass made a huge save. The supporters of FC Santo Giorgio booed when Jonsereds IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Lövgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Jonsereds IF's goal looked a bit too open when Ryland Giggs came free, but Sigvard Dalkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 11 minutes of play, FC Santo Giorgio's Ryland Giggs made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sigvard Dalkvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 14 played minutes Jonsereds IF got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Lundgren. David Herbruger blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sigvard Dalkvist having to make a save. Sigvard Dalkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zico Zidane in the 19th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Jonsereds IF's Sixten Sjö sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chico Vass narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonsereds IF were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after FC Santo Giorgio's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ronny Nilsson took the corner. The corner led Jonsereds IF's Ronny Nilsson to fire away a dangerous shot which Chico Vass despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Herbruger in the 28th minute of play forced Jonsereds IF's goalkeeper Sigvard Dalkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jonsereds IF's Ronny Nilsson in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Santo Giorgio's goalie prevented a goal. In the 33rd match minute, Jonsereds IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Lövgren to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, Jonsereds IF's goal looked a bit too open when Ryland Giggs came free, but Sigvard Dalkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sixten Sjö recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute, Jonsereds IF's Sixten Sjö dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Dennis Irwin made in the 42nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Javier Castillo immediately put the ball in play. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Santo Giorgio's goalkeeper Chico Vass, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonsereds IF's Sigvard Dalkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryland Giggs in the 47th minute of play. The Jonsereds IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Santo Giorgio were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sixten Sjö made a kick off. Javier Castillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigvard Dalkvist having to interfere. In the 53rd minute Ronny Nilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chico Vass saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Santo Giorgio's Chico Vass played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronny Nilsson in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Sixten Sjö cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Chico Vass was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to FC Santo Giorgio getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Dennis Irwin hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgar Lövgren during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edgar Lövgren hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 62nd match minute, FC Santo Giorgio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zico Zidane to maneuver through the defense. Sigvard Dalkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cheito Lozano in the 69th minute of the match. Sigvard Dalkvist came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Santo Giorgio's Cheito Lozano. But to his dismay, Cheito Lozano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. FC Santo Giorgio's Cesare Pirlo was substituted for Cheito Lozano. Chico Vass took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixten Sjö, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the match, FC Santo Giorgio's goal looked a bit too open when Sixten Sjö came free, but Chico Vass reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixten Sjö in the 80th minute of play forced FC Santo Giorgio's goalkeeper Chico Vass to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 82nd minute of the match Dennis Irwin completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dennis Irwin a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 83 played minutes FC Santo Giorgio got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Irwin. Dennis Irwin kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Jonsereds IF's Sixten Sjö sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chico Vass narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Jonsereds IF's Arvid Qvarnström got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute, FC Santo Giorgio's Zico Zidane dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. Zico Zidane's late challenge caught a Jonsereds IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zico Zidane helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd minute, Zico Zidane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cesare Pirlo struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Sigvard Dalkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Santo Giorgio. The FC Santo Giorgio players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
