The De Gröna FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 17 minutes into the match, De Gröna FK's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Chesus came free, but Marcu Alecu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute Patay Juniors were awarded a corner. Norberto Naelio went to the cornerflag to take it. 22 minutes into the match, De Gröna FK's goalkeeper Marcu Alecu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Prospero Petri. Prospero Petri's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcu Alecu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Prospero Petri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcu Alecu having to make a save. Paulo Eanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Francho having to interfere. Cayetano Francho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tudor Vrabie in the 37th minute of play. Cayetano Francho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jack Grealish in the 38th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Prospero Petri put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Marcu Alecu. With a little luck, De Gröna FK's Marcu Alecu got control of the ball when Edgard Ledesma tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tommy Ferm stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Petri in the 63rd minute of play forced De Gröna FK's goalkeeper Marcu Alecu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cayetano Francho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Eanes in the 64th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Patay Juniors's goalkeeper Cayetano Francho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Eanes. Patay Juniors's Prospero Petri got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Norberto Naelio was slow to take the kick. During this time Patay Juniors's players had a chance to rest.
