Soroca F.C.'s Armando Armani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kamber Aktaş in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kamber Aktaş in the 17th minute of play forced Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Armando Armani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cássio Dionísio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrián Espadas, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 22nd match minute, Independente AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Carlos Mozer to maneuver through the defense. Armando Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvinho Corrêa in the 23rd minute of play. Independente AC's Cássio Dionísio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrián Espadas in the 25th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Silvinho Corrêa put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Armando Armani. The supporters of Soroca F.C. booed when Independente AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Peixoto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Independente AC's Cássio Dionísio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Independente AC from getting a goal against them. 33 minutes into the game, one of Independente AC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Cássio Dionísio. With a little luck, Independente AC's Cássio Dionísio got control of the ball when Adrián Espadas tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Independente AC made a substitution. Kanu Zago replaced José Carlos Mozer. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adrián Espadas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kamber Aktaş got free with Armando Armani in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Soroca F.C. booed when Independente AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maicon Ramalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute of the match Soroca F.C. got a corner. Independente AC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zézinho Neiva ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a little luck, Soroca F.C.'s Armando Armani got control of the ball when Kamber Aktaş tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Kamber Aktaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute of the game Kanu Zago made a throw-in which Silvinho Corrêa played forward. Soroca F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
