Fernando Dracena started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Hüseyin Rahmi Ortaçgil threw the ball into play from the sideline. Pesqueira City's Izydor Ogrodowicz quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Jeremias Orland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Dracena in the 5th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Pesqueira City's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Dracena came free, but Jeremias Orland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tarık İnanç made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Benjamin da Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. 13 minutes into the match, Bornova's goalkeeper Tarık İnanç had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamin da Fonseca. If Benjamin da Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tarık İnanç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin da Fonseca in the 19th minute of the match. Fernando Dracena might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeremias Orland. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando Dracena ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 25th minute Fernando Dracena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Orland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Tarık İnanç successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 30 minutes into the game, Benjamin da Fonseca recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tarık İnanç. Benjamin da Fonseca showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Cristiano Bezerra might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tarık İnanç. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristiano Bezerra ran back to his position shaking his head. Pesqueira City's attentive Filiph Låsberg managed to snatch the ball when Hüseyin Rahmi Ortaçgil made a throw-in in the 36th minute of the game. In the 37th minute, Hüseyin Rahmi Ortaçgil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pesqueira City's Izydor Ogrodowicz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hüseyin Rahmi Ortaçgil in the 47 minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benjamin da Fonseca to strike the kick off in the second half. Pesqueira City's attentive Válbson Vidal managed to snatch the ball when Hüseyin Rahmi Ortaçgil made a throw-in in the 51st minute of the game. Tarık İnanç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin da Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Pesqueira City booed when Bornova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michal Setara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pesqueira City's Doriva Zanette was substituted for Filiph Låsberg. Michal Setara kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 64th match minute, Bornova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hüseyin Rahmi Ortaçgil to maneuver through the defense. Bornova's Tarık İnanç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin da Fonseca in the 65th minute of play. Jeremias Orland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Dracena in the 72nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Fernando Dracena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bornova's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Dracena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeremias Orland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Bornova defense, Benjamin da Fonseca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tarık İnanç. The Bornova fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tarık İnanç should have stopped the shot. Jeremias Orland was a little too slow when Hector Montrel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin da Fonseca in the 90th minute of play forced Bornova's goalkeeper Tarık İnanç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pesqueira City fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bornova had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
