Gerold Zollt was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Patricius Lafranchi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Matthieu Richardot sped through Ämmer Sportfreaks's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fergus Maina. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dan Gerber got free with Gerold Zollt in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 36 minutes into the game, Silverio Godoy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Gerold Zollt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rey Hirter hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Fergus Maina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidiu Poenaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ämmer Sportfreaks fans cheered their team off the field, for while DJK Füchtel Vechta had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
