The audience was convinced that Oscar Cruz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but André Nordmark was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. The supporters of FC Blueskatterna booed when Jacksonville 67 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. King Batistuta didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, FC Blueskatterna's André Nordmark got control of the ball when King Batistuta tried to sneak it across the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Jacksonville 67's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Björkman came free, but Rogelio Hanni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Blueskatterna's Östen Wik was substituted for Joachim Bergman. FC Blueskatterna's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Henrik Löv went to the cornerflag to take it. Henrik Löv made a great header on FC Blueskatterna's corner, it was just that Jacksonville 67's Rogelio Hanni managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 84thth minute of the game Peter Björkman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jacksonville 67's Rogelio Hanni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rogelio Hanni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Björkman, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Blueskatterna fans cheered their team off the field, for while Jacksonville 67 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
