Auriolam II C.F.'s Ponciano De Pedro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Auriolam II C.F. from getting a goal against them. 13 minutes into the match, Auriolam II C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Hernán Leandro came free, but Ponciano De Pedro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruperto Rainerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Sobrado in the 14th minute of the match. Auriolam II C.F.'s Ponciano De Pedro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernán Leandro in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Leon Platense's goal looked a bit too open when Jesús Perera came free, but Ruperto Rainerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Auriolam II C.F.'s Jesús Perera fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Ponciano De Pedro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernán Leandro in the 20th minute of play. In the 21stth minute of the game Hernán Leandro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Auriolam II C.F.'s Ponciano De Pedro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Jesús Perera notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Leon Platense's Ruperto Rainerio. Ruperto Rainerio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 34 minutes into the match, Auriolam II C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Dario Hussain came free, but Ponciano De Pedro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Auriolam II C.F.'s Sven-Erik Söderberg got a free kick in the 37th minute. Ruperto Rainerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesús Perera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ponciano De Pedro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Hussain, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Hussain in the 44th minute of play forced Auriolam II C.F.'s goalkeeper Ponciano De Pedro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leon Platense were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after Auriolam II C.F.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Constantino Anaya took the corner. A very nice done corner allowed Dario Hussain to score against Ponciano De Pedro in Auriolam II C.F.'s goal. 2-1 after 46 minutes. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dario Hussain stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leon Platense's goalkeeper Ruperto Rainerio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 61st minute Jesús Perera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Rainerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leon Platense made a substitution. Gaafar Carrillo replaced Adan Menendo. Leon Platense's Matias Sengrat was substituted for Teodoro Honrio.
