Ingvar Henriksson started the match with the kick off. Algitas Kaščiukaitis scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Axel Viberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Algitas Kaščiukaitis in the 9th minute of play forced IFK Stockholm's goalkeeper Axel Viberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Algitas Kaščiukaitis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Algitas Kaščiukaitis in the 34th minute of play forced IFK Stockholm's goalkeeper Axel Viberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Algitas Kaščiukaitis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Axel Viberg, 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ingvar Henriksson during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Algitas Kaščiukaitis to strike the kick off in the second half. Axel Viberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gino de Godoi in the 59th minute of play. Axel Viberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gino de Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sävedalen's Tomas Björklund was substituted for Davut İkram. Axel Viberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Axel Viberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Junior Junior's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute, Sixten Hellström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lennart Larsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Axel Viberg. IFK Stockholm's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 97th match minute, IFK Stockholm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixten Hellström to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt a red card was in order, 98 minutes into the game, when Štefko Müür put in a rough tackle. In the 101st minute there was a penalty for Sävedalen. Lennart Larsson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Axel Viberg. 9-0.
